Bulls Not Concerning Themselves With Critics
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Chicago Bulls ended the regular season with the best record in the NBA. They have the front runners for both league MVP and Coach of the Year. And despite all that, there are some who don't think the Bulls are the favorites to a title.
But it seems as if that negativity and doubt hasn't permeated the Bulls locker room. Chicago, as they have been all season, remain focused and confident in their schemes and their teammates.
"I think we're a deep team," Bulls center Joakim Noah said. "And I think at the end of the day, what people think, it really doesn't help you win a basketball game.
"The only thing that matters is what what we think in this locker room."
The critics say the Bulls don't have enough playoff experience and lack a secondary scorer. But all the analysis and predictions will go out the window when the Bulls open their first round playoff series against the Indiana Pacers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
