Bulls Intend To Set The Pace On Defense In Game 2
There wasn't a stingier team on defense than the Chicago Bulls during the season. So they weren't thrilled after their playoff opener against the Indiana Pacers.
They know it will take a better defensive effort than the one they delivered Saturday, when they rallied from a late 10-point deficit to beat Indiana 104-99.
Sure, the Pacers missed their final eight shots while the Bulls outscored them 16-1 in the closing minutes withDerrick Rose leading the charge, but for much of the game, they were getting open looks. The pressure was weak, and when Chicago coach Tom Thibodeau reviewed the video, it wasn't exactly easy on the eyes.
Game 2 is Monday night at Chicago.
