Bulls And Heat Could Be On Collision Course
CHICAGO (WSCR) -- The Chicago Bulls and the Miami Heat are top two seeds in the Eastern Conference, and if the seeding holds up over the first two rounds, they'll meet each other in the Eastern Conference Finals.
"I do think that those teams are headed for a matchup in the conference finals and I think it's going to be a spectacular series," K.C. Johnson, of the Chicago Tribune, said on the Danny Mac Show. "I think it's going to go seven games and I actually vacillate on who is going to with that game.

"Let's not forget that even though the Bulls swept that season series, all three of those games were basically one-possession games. That's not to discount what the Bulls did, but those games all came down to the wire and they were all great games."
Derrick Rose has averaged 29 points, 6.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game against the Heat this season. But maybe more important than Rose, the Bulls have a much deeper bench that brings great intensity, defense and scoring to a game.
"I do think what helps the Bulls is that their strengths are exactly Miami's weaknesses, and that's center, point guard and depth," Johnson said. "I think the Bulls have the ability to wear down the Heat with size and depth. And then obviously the point guard position is just an incredible, ridiculous edge for the Bulls. I think the Bulls matchup very very well with the Heat. As we all know, playoff basketball, even more so than regular season basketball, is about matchups and adjustments. Like I said, I think the Heat are going to be a very very tough out, but I do think that the Bulls matchup very very well against that team."
