Bulls Adjusting To Being 'The Hunted'
CHICAGO (WSCR) Coming into the season, people expected good things from the Chicago Bulls, but it's safe to say that no one expected them to have the best record in the NBA and the league's Coach of the Year and Most Valuable Player.
"The mindset of this Bulls team, you know, they were the upstart all season long, and they were the team that was coming and coming," Adrian Wojnarowski, of Yahoo! Sports, said on the Danny Mac Show. "Derrick Rose was the MVP, you know, a little bit out of nowhere. I mean people didn't see that coming this year for him, that it wasn't quite his turn, and he just took the thing. And you know, Tom Thibodeau, the Coach of the Year, a coach that had been past over so many times. And all of a sudden, they're the hunted now."

One of the major contributors to the Bulls' success this season has been the tempo and effort exhibited in nearly all of the 82 regular season games. But in the playoffs, every team plays hard and raises their effort.
"This was not going to be like the regular season for the Bulls," Wojnarowski said. "And I'm not surprised they're struggling and that they're going to have to come from behind in this series, but I still think that if [Carlos] Boozer gets right, this team should still advance."
