Packers' Bulaga: Peppers Is 'Phenomenal'
(WSCR) If one thing is certain coming into the Bears-Packers matchup on Sunday, it's that Julius Peppers is going to do anything he can to get to Aaron Rodgers.
Standing in his way will be the 6-foot-7-inch offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga in his second year in Green Bay. Bulaga knows just how tall of a task it will be to stop the Bears Pro Bowl defensive end.
"He's a phenomenal athlete," Bulaga told The McNeil and Spiegel Show on Friday. "If you watch him as much as we do on tape, you see how tremendous of an athlete he is and how powerful. He's got great length, so he can work a lot of moves off that. If you watch that, you just understand why he is one of the best in the game.

"Against a guy like Peppers, you gotta play smart football, you really do. He's a smart football player in himself. He's seen everything. If you just watch him as he pass rushes and sets up tackles in games, he's just does such a great job with it. He's truly one of the best in the game."
Rushing from the other end of the defensive line will be Isreal Idonije. Bulaga said the Packers are still trying to find a way to stop the tandem.
"I don't think anyone has those guys figured out," Bulaga said. "They're two pretty good football players. They're two of the best defensive ends in the league. If you watch them on tape, they do everything outstanding. They get after the quarterback very well. They're both very good on the run. I think that's obvious if you just watch the defense as a whole."
