Buffalo Grove Boy Doesn't Like Dinner, Calls Cops
BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. (STMW) - A 10-year-old northwest suburban boy didn't like the dinner his father cooked for him, so he called police.
About 7 p.m. last Thursday, Buffalo Grove police got a 911 call from the 10-year-old who told the officer on the emergency line that the food his father had served him was "edible," but that he would prefer something more to his liking, according to a report from police.
The officer cautioned the boy that the 911 number was only to be used in the event of an emergency, a crime or to report suspicious persons and incidents.
The report did not say what the father had cooked for his son.
