Brown's Career Could End With Fire Season On Saturday
C.J. Brown is the last member from the Fire's debut team back in 1998. Saturday night could not only mark the end of one of the more disappointing Fire seasons, but it could also mark the end of Brown's career.
"For me, I don't know," Brown told WBBM's Josh Liss. "We're still trying to figure out what's the best route for me. Some days I feel like 'hey, I could play another season.' And other days I'm like 'I can't do this anymore.'"

This season was Brown's 13th with the organization, and only second where the team didn't make the playoffs. "It was an up and down season," he told Liss. "We never really got off to a hot roll."
Despite the poor year and the possibility of it being his last, Brown is still able to remember his time here in Chicago with fond memories and wants to end this season on a high note. "We haven't had a great season, so it'd be nice to end the season with a win."
Ending the season with a win would be a nice treat for the diehard Fire fans who have stuck with the team throughout the down year. Ending the season with a win would also be a fitting way for Brown to potentially end his professional soccer career.
