Brouwer: Luongo 'Hasn't Done Enough' Lately
CHICAGO (WSCR) As a Vancouver native and a member of the Blackhawks, Troy Brouwer is an awkward position.
The team Brouwer grew up rooting for is in the Stanley Cup Finals, but the Canucks also happen to be his current team's bitter rivals.
"They're in the Finals but obviously I can't cheer for them," Brower told The Danny Mac Show on 670 The Score Thursday. "As far as the city goes, they've been waiting a long time for a Stanley Cup and if Vancouver does win this, I won't be happy for the team, but I'll be happy for the city."

That seems like a fair compromise. Brouwer still lives in Vancouver in the offseason after all.
Meanwhile, his -- and his teammates' -- feelings for the Canucks players haven't changed. When asked about how Canucks goaltender Roberto Luongo has played during the Finals, Brouwer was honest.
"In Vancouver, it's 'what have you done for me lately?' and lately, (Luongo) hasn't done enough," Brouwer said. "I don't have a personal grudge against Luongo. As far as the Vancouver Canucks, we don't like them and we are still upset we ended up losing Game 7."
While it's not likely, it's possible Game 7 was Brouwer's last as a Blackhawk. He is a restricted free agent, but maintains he wants to stay put.
"I haven't had too much conversation with Chicago as of yet," Brouwer said. "But Chicago is definitely a place that I see myself playing and where I would like to continue my hockey career."
