Broker: Bulls-Heat Tickets Outselling Bears

CHICAGO (WBBM) -- What's the hottest ticket in town this weekend?
A Chicago ticket broker says if you think it's the Bears playing the Seattle Seahawks in the playoffs, you'd be wrong.
As WBBM's Regine Schlesinger reports, Max Waisvisz, who owns Gold Coast Tickets, says the greatest demand he is seeing is for the Bulls' game Saturday night against LeBron James and the Miami Heat. He says the Bears' first playoff game on Sunday isn't generating much demand.

"Before, it was up, like, $225, $250 a ticket. We have dropped our pricing down to like $159 to get in to see the game, which is not that much more than face value," Waisvisz said.
However, that doesn't mean that people aren't buying tickets for the Bears-Seahawks matchup. StubHub tells CBS 2 that demand for tickets for the game is high and pricey.
There are currently more than 8,000 tickets listed on StubHub, with prices starting at $150 and topping out at $1,870. The average that fans have paid is $322, StubHub reported.
Waisvisz says the real Super Bowl would be an NFC Championship game between the Bears and the Green Bay Packers a week from Sunday.
"It's kind of a Super Bowl because a lot of people, because you see, 'Bears against Green Bay,' that's, first of all, a great rivalry," Waisvisz said.
He said no one should underestimate the Seahawks, who beat the Bears in the regular season, and, on Saturday, stunned the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints in the first round of the playoffs.
