Briggs To Start For Bears
Lance Briggs is healthy enough to play in today's game vs. the Washington Redskins. The Bears WLB was kept off the inactive list and will start alongside, Brian Urlacher and Pisa Tinoisamoa. Briggs was seen warming up with teammates and had a big hug for ex-teammate, Rex Grossman, who is back in Chicago as the Redskins back-up QB.
Here are the inactives:
Todd Collins (3rd QB), Major Wright (who is still suffering from a hamstring injury), Kahlil Bell, Zackary Bowman, Roberto Garza, Dez Clark, Corey Wootton and Marcus Harrison.
Although it's sunny right now, the weather forecast calls for rain and wind, with gust of up to 20 MPH. That could be a beneift to Washington who has a better run game than the Bears.
