Brewers' Manager Roenicke Taken To Chicago Hospital
(CBS) The Brewers could be without manager Ron Roenicke tonight when they face the Cubs at Wrigley Field.
According to 620 WTMJ in Milwaukee, Roenicke was taken to a Chicago hospital around 5:30 a.m. this morning after his back froze up. Roenicke was scheduled to be on WTMJ this morning for his weekly radio segment, but his wife notified the radio station that he would not be able to call-in because he was in the hospital.
The Brewers have been hit hard by injuries so far this season and not it appears that includes their manager.
The Cubs host the Brewers tonight at 7:05 and Roenicke's status is unclear at this point.
