Brenly: Castro Should Hit Second

At this time last year, Starlin Castro was turning heads in spring training, but wouldn't make his major league debut until May 7. This year he'll be an opening day starter and one of the keys to the Chicago Cubs.

He's a contact hitter that consistently makes contact and puts the ball into play from foul line to foul line and just gets his hits. That's been his history throughout his minor league career, it's what he did last season. I think for the time being, unless it becomes an absolute emergency that you need somebody to hit in that leadoff spot, I think Star is going to stay in that two-hole."
