(CBS) -- Brandon Marshall knows offseason training activities are necessary, but that doesn't mean they don't bore him.
Asked Friday on The McNeil & Spiegel Show what he likes about OTAs, Marshall said:
"Nothing. The OTAs are not fun. I'd rather be in Hawaii somewhere, but this is part of the process, part of the journey. It's one of things that you have to go through as an athlete and if you begin to like it, you may even become great. But the fun for me is on Sundays. I can't wait until the season comes. This stuff is boring."

"In all seriousness, you win your games in the offseason, so you have to do things like this," he said. "The chemistry that you build with your teammates on and off the field is really important, but at this point, man, the guys are just thirty. They are just foaming at the mouth, ready for some real football."
The offseason work continues next week as the Bears hold mandatory mini camp at Halas Hall.
