Boy, 16, Seriously Hurt In West Englewood Shooting
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A teenage boy was seriously wounded in a drive-by shooting Saturday morning in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.
At 11:44 a.m., the 16-year-old boy was walking west in the 1900 block of West 70th Street when someone fired shots from a vehicle that was traveling east, according to Chicago Police.
The boy suffered gunshot wounds to the upper torso and abdomen and was taken in serious condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
