Boy, 15, Shot On Southeast Side
(STMW) -- A 15-year-old boy was shot Friday evening in the Calumet Heights neighborhood on the Southeast Side.
He was shot in the neck at 6:37 p.m. while he was walking on the sidewalk with a friend in the 1900 block of East 95th Street, police said.
The boy was taken to University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital in "stable" condition, police said. The friend was uninjured.
No one was in custody early Saturday as Area South detectives investigated.
