Boy, 15, Shot In Head On NW Side
CHICAGO (STMW) - A 15-year-old boy was critically wounded when he was shot in the head near Hanson Park on the Northwest Side Friday night.
About 9:45 p.m. the boy was found on the street on the 2300 block of North Lorel Avenue by police who had responded to a call of a person shot, according to a report from police News Affairs.
The boy was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
No one was in custody as of early Saturday.
Grand Central Area detectives are investigating.
