Boy, 15, Dead After Being Shot In Roseland
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 15-year-old boy is dead after being shot in the Roseland neighborhood Monday afternoon.
At 2:24 p.m., the boy was near an alley in the 10000 block of South Perry Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.
The boy was shot in the head and was taken to the University of Chicago's Comer Children's Hospital in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
No one was in custody Monday afternoon. Area Two detectives were investigating.
