Boy, 15, Critically Wounded In Grand Crossing Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) - A 15-year-old boy was critically wounded during a shooting in the South Side Grand Crossing neighborhood Wednesday evening.
The shooting occurred at 6:35 p.m. in the 7800 block of South Kimbark Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said. The boy was shot in the hip.
The 15-year-old boy was taken in critical condition to University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital, Fire Media Affairs said.
No one is in custody and Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
