Boozer's Lack Of Defense Being Noticed By Teammates
(WSCR) The lack of defense played by the $80 million man Carlos Boozer is starting to draw attention inside the Bulls' locker room.
"That's kind of been the elephant in the room," Aggrey Sam of Comcast Sportsnet told The Mully and Hanley Show. "Without throwing anyone under the bus, it has definitely been discussed. The rest of the team knows one speed. These guys aren't blind. They know Carlos has some value, don't get me wrong, but they also know that this guy does not alway give 100 percent on defense. It's not a question of not understanding the system."

Sam said Boozer just plays with a different mindset than the rest of his team on defense.
"On defensive rotations, the Bulls are one of the best defensive teams in the league. It's not that Carlos can't get in position to help, it's that after the initial rotation, he doesn't make another movement. Whether it's to rotate again or actually physically stop somebody. ... It's something where he's wired a little bit differently than the rest of them."
