Boozer Sits Out Practice With Turf Toe
DEERFIELD (AP) Chicago Bulls forward Carlos Boozer sat out Friday's practice because of turf toe on his right foot.
Coach Tom Thibodeau says "it's hard to say" if Boozer will be ready for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against Atlanta on Monday but "I'm thinking that he will be able to."
Losing Boozer would be a big blow to the Bulls, even though he did have difficulties in the first round against Indiana. They won that series in five games, but he got bogged down by foul trouble and struggled at times when he was on the court.
The Bulls took two days off after knocking off the Pacers.
