Boozer Named Eastern Conference Player Of The Week
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Carlos Boozer was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week on Monday, after averaging 23 points and 14.8 rebounds in four games, to lead the Bulls to three wins last week.
Boozer had a double-double in all four games last week -- including wins against the Celtics, Hawks and Raptors -- including 19 points and 20 rebounds against Boston on Friday.
Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant was named the Western Conference Player of the Week, after averaging 37.5 points in four games, including three wins. He netted an NBA season-high 52 points on Friday in a 117-114 overtime win against the Dallas Mavericks.
