Boozer And Bulls Set Sights On Celtics
The Chicago Bulls passed up the Miami Heat in the standings and sent the team into an tail spin in the process. Now the Bulls have their sights on another "Big Three," the ones that play in Boston.
As of Tuesday, the Bulls sit just 2 1/2 games behind the Celtics in the Eastern Conference with 20 games left to play.
"Absolutely, you know, why wouldn't it be?" Bulls forward Carlos Boozer said when asked if catching the Celtics was now their goal. "We're right there, we can feel it. We have to take it one game at a time like we have all season."
Despite battling injuries that has only allowed their full roster to be together for 17 games, the Bulls have been at the top of the conference all season long. And in the eight games since Noah's return, the Bulls are 6-2 with two wins over the Heat and a win over the Orlando Magic.
With a favorable schedule down the stretch and continued improvement as a team, the Bulls have legitimate reason to believe they can catch the Celtics.
