Bomb Threat Near Ogilvie Transportation Center Unfounded

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police said a bomb threat near Ogilvie Transportation Center on Monday was unfounded.
A man called Metra police Monday morning, and said a bomb had been planted near Madison Street and Wacker Drive, police News Affairs Officer Jon Mirabelli said.
Metra police, as well as Chicago Police, quickly responded to the intersection, which is near Ogilvie, as of 6:45 a.m., Mirabelli said.
The threat was cleared at 8:48 a.m., police said. No suspicious package was found and the bomb threat was deemed unfounded.
Metra spokesman Tom Miller said that neither Ogilvie Transportation Center nor Metra service was disrupted Monday morning.
