Body Of Missing Streamwood Woman Found In Park
STREAMWOOD, Ill. (CBS) -- The body of a missing 20-year-old woman from Streamwood has been found in a park near where she was last seen alive.
CBS 2's Susanna Song reports Rachel Morris had been missing for 11 days.
Early Friday, police confirmed her body was found in the wetland area of Shady Oaks Park, at 777 S. Bartlett Rd. in Streamwood.
She had last been seen on the night of Nov. 12 in the park.
Police have not yet said if her death was the result of foul play.
However, the forensic unit of the Major Case Assistance Team was helping police with the investigation.
Investigators were collecting evidence at the scene for several hours overnight.
Police said Morris had a history of alcohol and substance abuse. An autopsy was scheduled for Friday.
