Bobcat Bucket Falls Onto Tri-State, Damages Cars
HILLSIDE, Ill. (CBS) -- A bucket fell from the front end of a Bobcat construction vehicle onto the northbound lanes of the Tri-State Tollway early Tuesday, and ended up damaging several motorists' cars.
CBS 2's Kris Habermehl reports the bucket fell from the Bobcat in the early morning hours. The Bobcat was mounted on a construction trailer that was headed north on the Tri-State just before the Cermak Toll Plaza.
Several vehicles ended up slamming into the Bobcat bucket. No one was injured, but many of the vehicles were left in sorry shape.
By 6 a.m., the Bobcat bucket was off to the side, and traffic was moving.
