CTA Makes Repairs That Caused Delay On Blue Line
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Trains on the CTA's Blue Line were experiencing delays early Tuesday because of a "track condition" near the Harlem station.
Shortly after 6 a.m., crews had completed repairs to the track and trains were running normally.
Trains in both directions were operating on the same track between the Cumberland and Jefferson Park stations, according to a CTA alert.
At the Harlem station, riders had to board all trains at the Forest Park-bound side of the platform.
Some O'Hare bound trains ended their trips at Jefferson Park and turned back toward downtown, according to a CTA rider alert.
