Blue Line Trains Moving Again After Car Enters Tracks Near Rosemont
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A vehicle somehow ended up on the CTA tracks near the Rosemont Blue Line station on Friday afternoon, forcing service to be halted for a short time.
Trains were being stopped at Cumberland and the CTA was shuttling passengers on buses between Cumberland and O'Hare.
The accident happened around 3:15 p.m.
As of 4 p.m. crews had removed the car from the tracks and were working to restore power to the area.
Trains were running again shortly after 4 p.m., but the CTA said to expect delays.
Traffic in the area was also backed up, along the Kennedy Expy.
