Blackhawks Will Face Coyotes In First Round Of Playoffs
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Chicago Blackhawks will be playing the Phoenix Coyotes in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
The Blackhawks finished the regular season in 6th place in the conference after beating the Detroit Red Wings 3-2 in a shootout victory in Detroit on Saturday.
The Coyotes locked up the Pacific Division title Saturday with a 4-1 win over the Minnesota Wild and will have home ice advantage over the Blackhawks in the first round of the playoffs.
The NHL will announce its full playoff schedule on Sunday.
