Blackhawks Still Fighting To Reach Playoffs

In the playoffs, the Blackhawks won't have to worry about the standings or what the rest of the Western Conference is doing. The only thing on their minds will be their matchups with their first-round opponent.
"I'm a big believer in those matchups," Olczyk said. "And I think that the Blackhawks matchup agaisnt teams a little bit better than other teams."
With all the talent and experience the Blackhawks have, they'll be a dangerous draw for an unlucky team. But they can't ruin a season for a team like the Vancouver Canucks unless they make it in.
"[Friday night] is certainly another step closer," Olczyk said. "It's going to be difficult, but the 'Hawks certainly have things in their own skates."
