Blackhawks Still Can't Feel Comfortable
The Chicago Blackhawks have won four of their last five games and put themselves right back where they want to be: in the playoff picture. But with 21 games left to be played, there's no time to feel comfortable.
"I don't think we're ever in a place where we should feel comfortable," Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville said.
Since the Blackhawks beat the Pittsburgh Penguins they've looked like a much better team, like the team that won the Stanley Cup a season ago. And they're going to have to continue to play like the Stanley Cup Champions down the stretch, because they're next three opponents are also fighting to stay in the playoffs.
"I think that you look at the standings, the next opponent is right in that wheelhouse," Quenneville said. "And [five] teams at 70 points is pretty amazing."
The Blackhawks next game is on Sunday night when they take on the Phoenix Coyotes at the United Center.
