Blackhawks Reduce Roster to 28 Players
(CBS) The Blackhawks have assigned forwards Cody Bass and Pierre-Cedric Labrie to the Rockford Icehogs of the AHL, they announced Tuesday morning, trimming their roster to 28 players.
Chicago's roster now is comprised of 16 forwards, nine defensemen and three goalies.
The Blackhawks are 2-2 in the preseason so far and have two exhibition games left before opening the season at Dallas on Oct. 9.
