Blackhawks Recall Morin And Klinkhammer, Hossa To IR
Jeremy Morin and Rob Klinkhammer have been recalled from the Rockford IceHogs to take the place of injured players Patrick Kane and Marian Hossa. Hossa has been placed on Injured Reserve.
Morin has already made the trip from Rockford to Chicago many times this season. After being sent down earlier in the week, Morin has been recalled today.
The Lethbridge, Alberta, native Klinkhammer shares third on the IceHogs with nine points (3G, 6A) in 20 contests this season and ranks fourth on the club with a +1 plus/minus rating. Klinkhammer has spent four seasons on the Blackhawks AHL affiliate team (Rockford, 2008-10; and the Norfolk Admirals, 2007-08). He will wear #59 with the Blackhawks.
