Blackhawks Place Carcillo on IR, Recall Pirri
(CBS) The Blackhawks placed injured forward Daniel Carcillo on injured reserved Wednesday and recalled Brandon Pirri from Rockford.
Carcillo has missed three straight games since suffering an upper-body injured against the Wild a week ago.
Pirri played the Blackhawks' season opener in Dallas Oct. 7 and notched an assist, his only career NHL point.
Carcillo has nine points (two goals, seven assists) in 26 games this season.
The Blackhawks host the Montreal Canadiens at the United Center tonight at 7:30 p.m.
