Blackhawks' Hendry To Undergo Knee Surgery
Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Jordan Hendry will undergo surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
Hendry suffered the injury in the Blackhawks' 4-3 shoot out win over the Phoenix Coyotes on Sunday night.
"We anticipate a full recovery in approximately six months," head team physician Dr. Michael Terry said in a statement.
The 27-year old recorded a goal, four penalty minutes and a -2 rating in 37 games with the Blackhawks this season. In 129 career games Hendry has recorded 13 points (4G, 9A) and 40 penalty minutes. He also participated in 15 games during the Blackhawks Stanley Cup Championship run last season.
