Blackhawks Goalie Corey Crawford Named NHL's 2nd Star For January
(CBS) Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford has been named the NHL's second star for the month of January, the league announced Monday.
Crawford was 9-2-0 with a 1.64 goals against average and .952 save percentage in the month. He also had two shutouts and paced the league in wins during that stretch.
Capitals center Evgeny Kuznetsov was named the first star of the month.
Crawford is 28-12-2 with a 2.14 goals against average and .931 save percentage for the season. The Blackhawks lead the Western Conference with 70 points at the All-Star break.
Chicago opens the second half at Colorado on Tuesday night.
