Blackhawks Focused On The Next One

After their fifth consecutive win on Monday night, the Chicago Blackhawks moved to 5th place in the Western Conference. But the team's work isn't done yet, in a crowded playoff race it won't be done till the season ends.

"One game at a time," Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews said of the team's focus. "And every time we come up big and come up with two points."

The win streak started with a shoot out victory during a nationally televised game. And they've won in virtually every way, in close shoot outs, run away shut outs and with game changing 2nd periods. It seems like the issues that were plaguing the team earlier in the season, have been nonexistent over the five-game stretch.

"Whether it's a shoot out win or even strength win by a couple goals," Toews said. "It doesn't matter how we get it, we always find a way to learn from our mistakes and move on to the next [game]."
