Blackhawks Deepen Roster With Two IceHogs
(CBS) – Rockford IceHogs forward Jeremy Morin has been recalled by the Chicago Blackhawks, which also have agreed to the terms of a one-year contract with IceHogs forward Brad Mills, who also is recalled.
Chicago announced the news Friday in a release.
Morin, 22, has recorded eight points in eight games this season with the IceHogs, with the American Hockey League.
Mills, 30, has posted four points in eight games this season with Rockford.
The Blackhawks have also placed defenseman Michael Kostka on Injured Reserve, retroactive to Oct. 22.
Chicago returns to action on Saturday when they host the Minnesota Wild at the United Center.
