Blackhawks' Crawford Named Second Star Of The Week
The Chicago Blackhawks' rookie goalie Corey Crawford has been named the NHL's Second Star of the week ending February 27.
Crawford led the Blackhawks to a 3-0-0 record while posting a 1.95 goals against average, a .936 save percentage. His most impressive performance of the week may have been the 31-save shutout of the Nashville Predators on Feb. 24, it was the fourth shutout of his career.
Phil Kessel, of the Toronto Maple Leafs, was name the first star for his eight points (4G, 4A) and Matt Calvert, of the Columbus Blue Jackets, was named the third star.
