Blackhawks Assign David Rundblad To Rockford
(CBS) The Blackhawks have assigned defenseman David Runblad to AHL Rockford, the team announced Friday.
Runblad, 25, had been on loan to the ZSC Lions of Switzerland. He had two assists in nine games with the Blackhawks this season. A five-year NHL veteran, Rundblad has four goals and 21 assists in 113 career games.
Chicago takes the ice Friday night when it plays at Winnipeg, looking to snap a four-game losing streak.
