Birthday Party Ends Badly For Gary Woman
GARY, Ind. (STMW) - A woman celebrating her birthday was arrested and charged with public intoxication, resisting law enforcement, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.
Miranda Jackson, 25, of the 1300 block of E. 7th Ave., pleaded not guilty to all charges Wednesday in Gary City Court.
Jackson admitted tossing part of a barbecue grill onto a car.
"I did not resist. I put my hands behind my back," Jackson told Judge Pro Tem Robert Lewis.
Patrolmen Anthrice Culp and Stephen Otten arrested Jackson, who appeared in court barefoot, wearing a red camisole and pajama pants.
Lewis set her bond at $300.
