Biggs: Playoff Berth Close To 'Impossible'
(WSCR) After Sunday's 13-10 overtime loss to the Broncos, many members of the Bears felt just as the fans did -- speechless.
"They were just dumbfounded," Brad Biggs of the National Football Post and Chicago Tribune told The Mully and Hanley Show. "I think (it was) probably with the realization that it's going to be damn near impossible for them to make the playoffs with the way this offense is playing right now."

With less than two minutes remaining and the Bears clinching to a three-point lead, running back Marion Barber ran out of bounds, stopping the clock and breathing life back into the Broncos. The stopped clock forced the Bears to punt, and the Broncos marched down the field and hit a field goal to force overtime.
Things didn't get any better for Barber, who fumbled in overtime, setting up the game-winning field goal for Denver.
"Marion Barber did the unthinkable and he did it twice," Biggs said. "Hey, fumbles happen. Even in crunch time, there are backs that will lose the football, but to run out of bounds with a 1:55 to play and the Broncos without any timeouts, makes no sense.
