Biggs: Offensive Line Woes Continue To Plague Bears
(WSCR) When the Bears drafted then-tackle Chris Williams with the 14th-overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, they thought they were getting their left tackle of the future.
Things, however, have not quite panned out the way the Bears wanted.
Williams has been marred by injuries and inconsistent play during his four-plus season in the NFL, ultimately leading to his shift to guard.
Brad Biggs of The National Football Post and the Chicago Tribune joined The Mully and Hanley Show to discuss the offensive line woes that have plagued the Bears over the last four seasons.
"With the 14th pick, they needed a tackle," Biggs said. "That's been the trick bag for them. They haven't been able to draft of the offensive line, or they've refused to try to draft on the offensive line."
