Biggs: Deep WR Draft Class Perfect For Bears
(WSCR) If the Bears are looking to bring in a big target for Jay Cutler to throw to, this is the year to do it.
This year's wide receiver draft class is one of the deepest in recent memory, and some NFL mock drafts have the Bears selecting the 6-foot-3, 220-pound Michael Floyd out of Notre Dame with the 19th-overall pick.
"When you're in need of a position, you certainly want it to be stocked with depth," Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune and National Football Post told The Mully and Hanley Show. "That's what the wide receiver position is right now. I'm not saying there is going to be four Pro Bowlers in this draft class, but right now, it looks like you're going to have some guys to choose from, not just as No. 19, but in round two and round three."

The Bears have four picks in the first three rounds, thanks to the pick they acquired from Carolina in exchange for tight end Greg Olsen -- something that could prove to be beneficial for the Bears.
"This is a situation where, if the Bears like a couple of guys, they certainly have the means to go out there and use multiple picks on the position, if there are guys there that they really covet," Biggs said.
