Biggs: Bears Focusing On WRs At Senior Bowl
(WSCR) Though the Bears are still without a general manager, area scouts have still traveled to the Senior Bowl to evaluate talent.
Brad Biggs of the National Football Post and Chicago Tribune joined The Mully and Hanley Show on Monday to discuss what the Bears' most pressing needs are this offseason.
"There's a lot of focus on the wide receiver position with the Bears, as there should be," Biggs said. "It's interesting because the top guys are not here, they're not participating. ... Most of the wide outs that are down, they're big guys. They're probably not going to run great when they get to Indianapolis and the combine comes around, but most of the wide outs are some big guys."

Biggs said the Bears may already have their sights sets on one wide receiver.
"One of ones that's kind of stood out is a guy from Appalachian State named Brian Quick," Biggs said. "He's one of the most athletic players, maybe the most athletic player on the north side. He's 6-foot-3 1/2-inches, 222 pounds. He's got good size."
