ROSEMONT, Ill. (CBS) -- Coming soon will be an announcement of more jobs coming to Illinois, this time to Rosemont.
As WBBM Newsradio's John Cody reports, Gov. Pat Quinn was set to announce Tuesday that Lafarge, one of the nation's largest cement producers, is moving its North American headquarters to the near northwest suburbs.
Lafarge's North American operation is now headquartered in Herndon, Va., and will move from that town. The company's main headquarters are in Paris, France.
Quinn was set to announce that the shift to Rosemont will bring some 90 new jobs to the State of Illinois immediately, and 100 jobs in three or four more years.
Quinn is estimating that Lafarge will invest about $10 million moving its North American headquarters.
