Big 4th Inning Leads To White Sox Loss
CHICAGO (AP) -- The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim scored four runs in the fourth inning and went on to beat the Chicago White Sox by a score of 4-3 on Friday night.
The Angels have won three straight and seven games of their last nine.
Jered Weaver (4-0) allowed three runs on four hits to earn the win. Two of the runs were earned. The 2010 strikeout leader added four to his 2011 total and leads the majors with 31 this season.
Maicer Izturis had three hits and drove in two runs.
Adam Dunn hit a two-run homer in the sixth inning, his second of the year.
Phil Humber (1-1) allowed four runs, two earned, over five innings for Chicago. He gave up six hits and struck out four.
