Biden Coming To Chicago For Epilepsy Benefit
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Vice President Joseph Biden is visiting Chicago Tuesday night for a worthy cause.
Biden will attend a fundraiser for the group Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy. He will join the founders of the group, former White House senior adviser David Axelrod and his wife, Susan, for the fundraiser at Navy Pier.
Also to attend the benefit are Peter Sagal, host of the WBEZ-NPR radio show "Wait Wait… Don't Tell Me!" and Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough of MSNBC.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a sponsor reception, followed by a general reception, a program and dinner. It will be held in the Grand Ballroom at the east end of Navy Pier.
The Axelrods' daughter has epilepsy.
