BGA: Rauner Pick For Environmental Post Previously Worked At Oil And Gas Pipeline Company
(CBS) -- A government watchdog is questioning one of Governor Rauner's picks for posts in his administration.
One of the people tapped by Governor Rauner to work in the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency is someone who used to work for an oil and gas pipeline company, according to the Better Government Association.

The group says IEPA Deputy Director Ryan McCreery was a manager at Kinder Morgan and his father is a registered lobbyist in Springfield.
McCreery tells the BGA he worked to expand energy infrastructure in an environmentally conscious and compliant manner at his old job and that his father won't take on clients in that field while his son is in the job.
