Halloween is here and the first thing most people will think of is trick-or-treating. Children will be dressed in their Halloween attire and roaming the streets, hoping to come home with a bag full of tasty treats. But what about the adults? Those of you who are far past the stage of dressing up in fun outfits, knocking on doors and asking for candy, there is still some fun to be had. Check out any of these great Halloween parties throughout Chicago.

The Halloween Trolley will travel throughout the Lincoln Park, Old Town, Gold Coast and a few more areas. Every 15 minutes, you will be able to hop on and off a trolley at any one of its 10 mapped stops to enjoy a new Halloween party. There will be beer available on each trolly, bar specials at all locations and costume contests to win. Fill your Halloween with variety at this year's Halloween Trolley Crawl.

With over 2,000 expected attendees, Chicago's top DJs and a top designer creating the scene, this is sure to be one to remember. The Northalsted Business Alliance will be presenting the 16th annual Northalsted Parade, and this year's theme is Apocalypse. This parade is known as one of the most fiercely competitive and creative events. Join in the costume contest or just watch from the sidelines, but participation is free. Registration will be from 4-6 p.m. followed by the parade and finally the stage show at 8 p.m. There will be six tricky performers and prizes awarded for the best costumes in seven different categories. The parade route goes south along Halsted Street from Waveland to Belmont.

Boarding begins a 9 p.m. for one of the most anticipated Halloween events in Chicago. At 9:30 p.m., the Kanan Yacht will depart from Navy Pier and on board will begin a Halloween party like none other. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Chicago while dancing and sipping a drink or two. Come dressed to impress, or to frighten, but don't forget your dancing shoes as some of Chicago's best DJs will be along for the ride.
