Chicago has a multitude of different Easter-themed activities and events geared towards children. Dogs hunt for treat-filled eggs and get their very own bandana for the Spring Bonnet Parade. Your kids will love dressing up their pet for this family-friendly event and there is even an area for your dog to take their own photo with the Easter Bunny. This is a free event for families with children of all ages. The children will enjoy a traditional Easter egg hunt and then a movie in the park. The event will include a showing of the movie "Hop," which tells a great story of the Easter Bunny. Young enough for children to enjoy, but not exactly a cartoon, this is a great movie for kids of all ages. Bring along a nice sized blanket to sit on and enjoy an egg hunt and movie in the park for Easter 2013.

This event is located within the Farm-in-the-Zoo area and costs $45 for adults, $30 for children between the ages of three to 12 and children two and under are free. There is a discounted price for those who are members of the zoo. The event includes a full breakfast, a meeting with the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt. There will be craft tables set up for children to make Easter-related projects and there will also be animal activities. Because the event is hosted outside, the zoo asks families to dress appropriately for the weather.

The brunch menu includes unlimited champagne and wine service, an omelet station, a carving station, a sweets table and tableside served coffee, juice and tea. There is also a huge assortment of traditional brunch dishes, alongside peel-and-eat shrimp, pasta dishes and chicken and fish dishes.
